Global optimization of hybrid AC/DC microgrid using HOMER and CPLEX

This work presents an idea about to design, simulation, and analysis of operational control system in order supervise the operations a hybrid AC/DC microgrid (HMG) different operating modes (connected islanded). The main task this paper is concerned with development implementation global optimization method for solving problems energy crisis HMG adequate algorithm. supervision was developed such way that it coordinates when power should be generated by sources renewable (RES) as PV array or wind turbine produced grid on-grid operation diesel generator (DG) off-grid operation. intended maximize use RES while limiting other emergency (the utility DG). simulation proves management reduces total cost thereby reducing RES. From results, hours proposed algorithm respects real-time under constraints.
